Big band swing was the pop music of WW2 but was replaced by R&B followed by rock.

4.  Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry 1956.

Jazz developed along parallel paths bop,cool & mainstream.

7. Good bait - Dizzy Gillespie BB 1947
8. Jay - JJ Johnson 1952

Cool jazz was a response to the fast & furious boppers.
